The woman was volunteering for the community meal when she fell into the boiling sambar in the crowded cooking area. CCTV footage captured the moment she fell alongside another person.
Bystanders quickly pulled her out of the cooking area following the incident. She suffered severe burns and was taken to a government hospital for treatment. However, her injuries proved fatal, and she died at the hospital the next morning.
